Everything happens for a reason, there is no random. It’s all relative and proportionate. Everything is personal if you are a person. Those would be the words I live by everyday and ones that I find also so aptly applicable to business. Probably the habit most influential upon my daily existence – make your own bed every morning, life starts better each day that way.

Age is a relative thing. Even if I did do this for the sake of rising to a challenge, afraid of being called ‘chicken’ again, I am still ahead of time. And what better a time to savor every last day of being twenty something. I began Rærity not because I was meeting my own deadline, nor because I needed a potential investor to tell me I was capable of starting up something of my own. Rærity is about giving back to myself the energy that I had felt wasted for so long, on fruitless labor, toils of love. The focus that should have been placed upon my own self in order to output something that is hopefully beneficial to many.

Rærity also lets me explore and develop the creative side of me that only hovered in the background during my conventional, structured working life – now is that time for the imagination and vision to run wild!

There is a time for everything (Ecc. 3:1-9), and it has indeed taken me a while to get here. Plus there is still so much to experience, and I’m only 29, so why not now?
